  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the Cajun seasoning and chicken broth to the saucepan, stirring to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the sauce.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve the Cajun butter chicken over white rice or with warm crusty bread.
