Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; once done, drain it and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked pasta, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, 1 cup of shredded cheese, and chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle breadcrumbs over it if desired.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
- Let it cool for a few moments before serving.
Notes
Great served with a crisp green salad or steamed vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days or frozen for longer storage.
