  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup Can substitute with cream of mushroom soup.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Low-fat or Greek yogurt can be used for a healthier option.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning based on ranch dressing mix.
  • as needed for garnish Chopped parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and sour cream. Stir everything until it’s well combined and creamy.
  3. Pour this uplifting mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
Cooking
  1. Set your slow cooker to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
  2. When it’s time, shred the chicken using two forks and mix it with the delicious sauce in the pot.
  3. Season to your preference with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Serve it hot, garnished with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for a fresh touch.

Notes

This dish can be served on its own, over rice, mashed potatoes, or in tortillas. It can also be customized with additional vegetables or different seasoning blends.
