Preparation
- Start by placing the chuck roast in the Crock Pot.
- Sprinkle the Italian Dressing Mix, Ranch Seasoning, and Brown Gravy Mix over the top of the roast.
- Pour 2 cups of water into the pot to keep everything moist.
- If using vegetables, chop them into bite-sized pieces and arrange them around the roast.
Cooking
- Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for about 8 hours or until the roast becomes tender and easy to shred.
- When ready, serve the roast sliced with a generous helping of gravy and vegetables on the side.
Notes
For best results, slice the roast into thick pieces and ladle the flavorful gravy over the top. Pair with creamy mashed potatoes or buttered noodles. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
