  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream Greek yogurt can be used as a lighter alternative.
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish Optional

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot and sprinkle the Italian dressing mix over the top.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before you’re ready to serve, cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions.
  5. Once the chicken is fully cooked, shred it with two forks while mixing it into the sauce.
  6. Serve the flavorful chicken and sauce over the cooked angel hair pasta, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. To freeze, allow to cool completely and transfer to a freezer-safe container for up to three months. Reheat on the stove over low heat or in the microwave until warmed through.
