  1. In a large crock pot, combine the beef, carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic.

  3. Pour the mixture over the beef and vegetables in the crock pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the frozen peas.
  6. Stir well and serve hot.
