Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix (15.25 ounces)
  • 2 cans Cherry Pie Filling (42 ounces total, 21 ounces each)
  • 1/2 cup melted Butter

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the yellow cake mix and melted butter until the mixture forms soft crumbles.
  2. Spray the crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Pour the cherry pie filling into the crock pot and spread it out evenly.
  4. Crumble the batter mixture over the cherries.
Cooking
  1. Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!
  3. If there is excess moisture on top of the dump cake, placing a paper towel over it before covering with the lid can help achieve that crispy crust.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days or freeze after cooling completely.
