Preparation
- Place the chuck roast at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the beef broth, chopped onions, minced garlic, carrots, and potatoes.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the top of the ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the meat and stir into the gravy before serving.
Notes
Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, steamed green beans, or a garden salad. Consider garnishing with fresh herbs. For a thicker gravy, add cornstarch slurry towards the end of cooking.
