  • 3 cans peaches in heavy syrup (14-15 ounces each, well drained) Make sure to drain the peaches well.
  • 1 box yellow cake mix Use a good quality cake mix for best results.
  • 1/2 cup butter Dice into small squares for evenly distribution.

Preparation
  1. Begin by draining the three cans of peaches well. Pour them into the bottom of your 6-quart crock pot.
  2. Evenly sprinkle the entire box of yellow cake mix over the peaches.
  3. Dice the half cup of butter into small squares and scatter these evenly across the cake mix.
  4. Place a clean kitchen towel over the crock pot and secure the lid on top of it.
Cooking
  1. Cook on high for 2-3 hours, until the top of the cobbler is slightly golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

For best results, consider adding nuts such as pecans or walnuts for extra crunch. You can substitute peach with cherries or blueberries for variety.
