Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce
  • 12 oz uncooked penne or rotini Choose any pasta shape you prefer.
  • 24 oz pizza sauce Store-bought or homemade as per your choice.
Cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Provides a delicious stretch.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Optional but adds great flavor.
Toppings
  • 1 cup pepperoni or other favorite toppings Options include bell peppers, olives, or mushrooms.
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Enhances flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Optional for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Grease your Crock Pot with a light layer of cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the uncooked pasta, pizza sauce, and half the cheese.
  3. Layer half of this mixture into the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  4. Add your desired toppings—be it pepperoni, vegetables, or other favorites.
  5. Pour the remaining pasta mixture on top and cover with the rest of the cheese.
Cooking
  1. Set the Crock Pot to low and cook for 4-6 hours until the cheese is melted and the pasta is cooked through.
  2. Once done, carefully mix everything together before serving.

Notes

Leftover Crock Pot Pizza Casserole can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for longer storage. Reheat until warmed through to a safe temperature of 165°F.
