Preparation
- Place chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot for even cooking.
- Pour in the chicken broth, then layer in the chopped carrots, celery, and diced onions.
- Add the cream of chicken soup along with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- About 30 minutes before ready to serve, increase the heat to high.
- Gently drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough on top of the mixture.
- Add in frozen peas.
- Cover once again and cook for another 30 minutes until the dumplings are fluffy.
- Finally, shred the chicken and stir before serving hot.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for longer storage.
