  • 12 pieces Tortillas Soft corn or flour tortillas, depending on preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Spray your crockpot with a non-stick cooking spray for easier cleanup.
  2. Place the chicken breasts or thighs at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle your taco seasoning over the chicken.
  4. Add salsa and chicken broth on top of the chicken, ensuring everything is well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and can easily be shredded.
Serving
  1. Once done, shred the chicken inside the pot using two forks. Mix well into the juices before serving.

Notes

You can get creative with toppings like sour cream, pickled onions, jalapeƱos, or corn salsa. To store leftovers, let the filling cool completely before placing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months.
