Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup Can substitute with honey or agave syrup.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans Optional; feel free to omit or substitute with other toppings.
  • 1 pack icing from the cinnamon rolls

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, maple syrup, melted butter, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Place the cinnamon roll pieces into the slow cooker and pour your syrup mixture over them.
  4. If using pecans, sprinkle them in now, then gently stir everything to combine.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until the rolls are thoroughly cooked and fluffy.
  2. Once done, drizzle the icing over the top right before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with coffee, milk, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for a couple of days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat before serving.
