Preparation
- Trim and season your chicken.
- In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, softened butter, chicken broth, and dried herbs. Stir until well mixed.
Cooking
- Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot and pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for about 4 hours.
Serving
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir to combine it with the sauce.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
For a one-pot meal, add vegetables like potatoes or bell peppers to the crockpot. Leftovers refrigerate well for up to 3-4 days and can be frozen for up to 2-3 months.
