Ingredients
  

Chicken and Sauce
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts or thighs for a juicier option
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic is preferred
  • 1/2 cup Butter, softened Can be substituted with olive oil
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Dried herbs like thyme or Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Trim and season your chicken.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, softened butter, chicken broth, and dried herbs. Stir until well mixed.
Cooking
  1. Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot and pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for about 4 hours.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir to combine it with the sauce.
  2. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

For a one-pot meal, add vegetables like potatoes or bell peppers to the crockpot. Leftovers refrigerate well for up to 3-4 days and can be frozen for up to 2-3 months.
