Cooking Instructions
  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Add the pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast.
  4. Pour the beef broth into the crockpot.
  5. Cut the butter into chunks and place them on top of the roast.
  6. Cover the crockpot, set it to low, and cook for about 8 hours or until the meat is fork-tender.
  7. Serve the pot roast with your choice of sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider searing the roast before cooking. You can adjust spice level with more or fewer peppers or substitute with jalapeƱos. To thicken the gravy, remove the meat and whisk in a cornstarch slurry into the pot after cooking.
