  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 pack Creamy gravy mix (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Optional
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Optional
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, if using.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the creamy gravy mix and chicken broth until smooth.
  4. Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken, ensuring it's completely covered.
  5. Cover the crockpot with the lid, set it to low, and let it cook for 6 to 8 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it back into the gravy.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add cream of mushroom soup or toss in cooked veggies like peas or carrots. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to three months.
