Ingredients
  

Fruit Base
  • 8 cups peaches, sliced Fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust for sweetness preference
Topping
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup butter, thinly sliced For richness in flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and slice the peaches directly into the crockpot.
  2. If using frozen peaches, slice them without thawing.
  3. Toss the peaches with 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar to enhance their natural flavor.
Topping
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  2. Spread the flour mixture evenly over the peaches in the crockpot.
  3. Dot the top with thin slices of butter.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot with a paper towel and then place the lid to trap steam.
  2. Cook on HIGH for 3 to 3.5 hours or on LOW for 4 hours.
  3. Once done, let it sit for about 15 minutes before serving warm.

To enjoy leftovers, refrigerate in an airtight container for 3 to 5 days or freeze portions for up to 3 months.
