Preparation
- Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it's well-coated.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken, shred it using two forks.
- Stir in cornstarch mixed with a bit of water to thicken the sauce.
- Return the chicken to the slow cooker and coat it with the sauce.
Notes
To keep leftovers fresh, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can freeze chicken and sauce together for long-term storage. Adjust the recipe for more servings by doubling the ingredients.
