  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 pieces fresh corn or flour tortillas Warm before serving.

Preparation
  1. In your slow cooker, add chopped onion and diced tomatoes to form a flavorful base.
  2. Sprinkle in the spices: chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  3. Layer the beef on top of the mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated with the spices.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the meat is fork-tender.
  5. Once done, shred the beef with two forks and mix it back into the juices.
Serving
  1. Use fresh tortillas to assemble your tacos, topped with your favorite fixings.

Notes

Quality matters: Buy good cuts of beef. For extra flavor, add jalapeños. Don't skip the toppings for enhanced flavor.
