- Start by placing the ground beef in the slow cooker, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Add in the kidney beans along with chopped onions and diced tomatoes.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or sour cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. It can be frozen in portions for up to three months. Enhance flavor by browning the beef beforehand and consider adding bell peppers or corn.
