- Start by searing the chicken in a hot skillet until it turns golden brown.
- Once browned, place the seared chicken, diced vegetables, potatoes, minced garlic, and bay leaves into your slow cooker.
- Season it with dried thyme, salt, and pepper, and stir everything to distribute the flavors evenly.
- Carefully pour the chicken broth over the mixture. If you prefer a thicker stew, sprinkle in the flour and stir until it thickens.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once done, ladle the stew into bowls and garnish with fresh parsley.
