Main Ingredients
  • 1 piece chuck beef roast Choose a well-marbled roast for best results.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 packet dry Italian salad dressing
Vegetables
  • 4 pieces potatoes Cut into chunks.
  • 3 pieces carrots Sliced or chopped.
  • 2 stalks celery Chopped.
  • 1 cup mushrooms Sliced.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chuck beef roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Evenly sprinkle the ranch seasoning, brown gravy mix, and Italian salad dressing over the roast.
  3. Add the chopped vegetables (potatoes, carrots, celery, and mushrooms) surrounding the meat.
Cooking
  1. Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for approximately 5 hours.
  2. After 5 hours, check the tenderness of the roast. If it's not tender enough, continue cooking for an additional hour or more until it reaches your desired texture.

Notes

For leftovers, allow the pot roast to cool before storing in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be frozen as well. Consider adding fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme for added flavor.
