- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic. After it’s nicely browned, drain any excess fat.
- Transfer the cooked beef mixture to a slow cooker. Add the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
- Serve the mixture on hamburger buns, topping each serving with a slice of cheese for extra flavor and richness.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Can be frozen in an airtight container for future use.
