Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 32 ounces frozen meatballs You can also use fresh ground beef rolled into meatballs.
  • 42 ounces cream of mushroom soup (2 cans)
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Add this towards the end of the cooking time.
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 packet onion soup mix For added flavor.
  • 1 splash A1 sauce
  • 1 pinch nutmeg Enhances the creamy texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In your slow cooker, add the cream of mushroom soup, beef stock, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Add the frozen meatballs and gently stir to coat them with the sauce.
Cooking
  1. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours, or on low for 4 to 5 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is bubbling.
  2. About 20 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream and let it warm and melt into the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve the meatballs warm over noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze before adding sour cream.
