- Start by adding the ground turkey to a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Break it apart with a spatula and add the chopped onions.
- Cook and stir until the turkey is cooked through and the onions are translucent.
- Transfer the cooked turkey mixture to a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Add all remaining ingredients: chopped carrots, celery, cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, spices, and chicken broth.
- Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours.
- After cooking, taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Serve hot.
